Ya know… He didn't like my style anyway. T_T Oh well. I'm bored! (Shut up! Homework does not ease boredom!) Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah…! For the first time in a long time I'm actually happy about drawing. That "long time" is about two, three years. Shh… Don't tell my parents that. ^_~ "I'm going to pay 30,000 a year and you're not happy!" T_T''' Anyway… I need something to draw. Blah. I'm going to whine, whine, whine, whineeeeeeeeee because I can. It's my dlog. =p And only four people read it anyway.

I'm posting too much. (::being Serom::)

Happy New Year's!

Monday, December 30, 2002 10:44pm

I just watched the Fellowship of the Ring and I really should have before I went to see the Two Towers. I forgot a lot of little things that show up in the Two Towers. =) All the girls swoon over that "girly man" and his anti-bacterial. (LOL, the new ad for Bath and Bodyworks XDDD) I'll admit he's good looking. Haha, throw Legalos a hat and a sword and he'll be Link! I should shut up before Nintendo makes a Legend of Zelda movie. ::cries for she has no Link to the Past:: And they mocked me with that ad at the theater! ;_; ::runs off::

::comes back:: I'm not tired. ::sighs:: I still didn't do my homework and my statement isn't going anywhere. Agh… Don't think about school. >_< Anyway, reality is going to suck on Thursday. ;_; ::sighs::

I decided not to draw GGK. And I was coloring last night. I swear there was a full moon or I have went blind to some degree because I actually like it. I gave it a sketchy coloring which kind of bothers me now but that hand. I'm so proud of that hand! It's probably kind of small but I guess I get away with it because it's a girl. ::shrugs:: I captured more of the vitality that I assume that Kimiko has. Poor Bob-san. ;_; I'm going to have to stalk Elfwood people for him now.

Nothing to draw, nothing to draw… Need something to draw. This is what I get for drawing for the past couple of days. >_< However, I have four character sketches, no wait, 5 character sketches and two still life drawings from Christmas. Count 'em 7 sketches for sketchbook! :D Now all I need is something to draw. ::falls off chair:: With everyone taking the cars I won't have anyway to get to Ami's tomorrow. Speaking of which I didn't email her back… ^^'' Anyway I guess I could mange to get my mom's car?

Blah… What to draw? Monk jelly perhaps? Or anti-bacterial? XDD I guess I'll do some fan art…?

12:01am

I'm getting used to staying up late which will kill me on Thursday. I didn't draw anything but I did fix up a few images that I plan on uploading one of these days. I stumbled upon (like I usually do) an image of a drawing I did last year of these two characters… (I don't think I ever showed anyone but you've probably seen it if you stole my sketchbook… providing that's it the right one. I have three going on at once. ^^''). Well I still like it. Yes, I was one of those strange moments where something possessed my hand. It's of this girl putting a collar with a bell on this cat like guy (well he has cat ears). Now I don't like his face but I guess the hair is okay. Lol, Goo Goo Dolls hair. XD I think I will draw them again…

12:51am

I sketch a bit something of them. Not quite as well as the first though. ;_; Maybe I need to use colored pencils? ::yawn::

Monday, December 30, 2002 4:26pm

Still debating GGK… ::sighs:: Vacation is almost over and I haven’t done any of my school work! ;_;

Saturday, December 29, 2002 12:59am

Party finished about half-hour ago. It was like old times. After the movies… The Two Towers. God, could they make that any longer? The movie was good, the length sucked. Ass cramp. Anyway, Ami got to eat a somewhat Polish meal and we played video games afterward. I must have temporarily gained my brother's cheapness since I was winning 15 to 4 (?) at Soul Blade. Wedge was getting a little too crazy so we stopped playing. ::yawn:: I guess I'm kind of tried. I'm still kind of debating GGK. I drew new character sketches though. I don't think I quite got the character or maybe its just my "style" (can't say I have one really) but I really don't care because I like the way it came out. (the hands and arms are horrible) Yes, I, thee artist, liked something I did. You may all die in shock now. ::patiently waits:: It's not so much the length. It's the "can I actually do it, pull it off?" But hey I want a career out of this so I guess it's a good time to find out. ::wishes she bought some How to Draw Manga books in NYC:: I guess I'll have to go to Outer Limits… ;_; Expensive! ::cries:: T_T

Thursday, December 26, 2002 11:45am

Well, it seems that we got our fair share of snow. Well, I don't think it was too "fair" to be driving in. ^_~ This Christmas will be remembered for the traveling. I went with my mom in her front wheel drive while my dad still stuck with rear wheel drive. (Mercedes aren't such hot shit in the snow. ^_~) So, we managed to make it there all right and my dad made it too with some sliding. My aunt was quite upset the majority of people canceled due to the snow. How many shots they had in the first hour! A few other people came later and I managed to get two sketches. The bunny got big! ;_; but it was pretty cute sitting in my grandfather's lap.

Getting back home… My father went first but he really wanted my mother to go first but we didn't quite get that till we made it up the hill. ^^'' See, my father already slipped down the driveway and going uphill next wasn't the greatest either. So, we then go first and there was a branch halfway down which probably scratched the car. Plows were out but they weren't doing anything and 202 wasn't plowed recently so it was as if it wasn't plowed at all. 23 and 46 were okay but locate roads sucked. As we were driving down the highway we kept hearing something and I look back to find that the snow on top of the car was falling. And later as we dropped the other grandmother off the snow from the roof crashed down to the front of the car. That's always fun, eh?

Dad made it home before us so he didn't dare to try to make it into the driveway so he tried to park on the street. Try is the keyword. He got stuck ¾ of the way and while they were shoveling snow away from the tires we had to drive around the block as there was a car behind us. We attempted to reach the driveway. We barely made it up before we got stuck too. (Almost hit dad's car too) My mom and I went inside while they shoveled the driveway for the car. I changed my shoes (lol, I had snow platform shoes) and jacket and went out to help only to find that the cars were parked. Although I claim the work to be a "man's job" I helped shovel a bit. The snow was really heavy so I just made a path and cleared the stairs. I got some pictures too. ^_^ The one of my cat is so funny. All you see of her is two glowing sees. ^___^

So for Christmas I got socks, a sweater, hair dyer from sister Joan and one of those sketch books from The Museum. I was thinking I would get one since I saw The Museum bag but I didn't expect that she got me the larger one. All's well.

Speaking of sketchbooks and gifts, I want to go shopping. Also, I finally posted on UCM and was surprises that the first response was from KYO referring me to Ghost Girl Kimiko. Well, KYO just really wants to see a few pages of GGK. ^^ So when I inquired about it I found that it was really long. Graphic novel series long. And the daunting task of doing that is quite enough to scare away artists. ::whines:: Why most it be so long?!

Wednesday, December 25, 2002 10:38am Merry Christmas

Snow! :D

I refuse to go downstairs while they're talking on the phone. I know I'll get dragged in. It's Christmas and for the first time in a long time I'm rather curious about what's under that tree. ^_^ There's isn't much but mom stuffed the sockings and that hasn't been done in years. I hope my brother likes his gift. I got him the Star Wars trilogy soundtrack. My mom is getting CDs as well which I couldn't find Fantasia or Frank Sinatra when I went so I got the Beatles.

LOL, yesterday after my mom and me made the blunder of adding bacon (Ya know, no meat on Christmas Eve) my mom makes the comment, "there's racial tension in the frying pan." XDDDDD The white mushrooms were the minority. XD Then we're all upset because the grandparents got gifts and no one else did. We still don't know how the younger people are missing out. I guess we don't return to the prime of our gifts, again, till we're old. ^_^ Those Christmas cookies came out a bit hard this year but they taste really good. ^____^ I believe my grandfather and I were in competition of who'll eat more. I think it was a tie. ::was a pig:: Blah… That damn rain. Agh… And we got to go to my Aunt's house yet. ::packs sketchbook::

They're still on the phone. T_T Oh… Well, well, maybe the grandparents didn't twist too much around. ^_~ Slight, confirmation as we broke the wafers. I managed to get away with it but I feel bad because everyone came up to me but I just never know what to say. ;_; (Clarify: the tradition of the wafers- when the person brakes a piece off from your wafer, you wish them something for the new year.) Mrs. Zarabbi was so wrong (at least in my case) that Thanksgiving is a holiday when you see a person's culture. I find that Christmas Eve has more tradition and culture cause ya know there's only like two countries that celebrate Thanksgiving so we have an "American" one.

Damn my dad isn't talking that loud so I don't know if he's still on the phone. I guess I'll have to take a chance.

Saturday, December 21, 2002 7:47pm

Well, it seems I can update again hence the many new posts. ^_^ Umm… So, I have a bunch of stuff to put up in my art section but I’m lazy. However I did post some stuff for URD people and such… Oh and Elfwood too. It’s an old one, the Viking, ya know. Blah, blah, blah, blah… I didn’t do much with the cookies this year since there were four of us. We were done by 9pm not including clean up which was surprisingly early. I hope Christmas Eve cooking goes that fast. ;_; Oh and it seems the grandparents are twisting things out of proportion so there won’t be any surprises during the holidays…

Congratulations to Amy who also gets to go to college!

And many thanks to everyone for the gifts!

Thursday, December 19, 2002 8:19pm

Yay, it's over! ^__^ Gifts are all wrapped. It's just that some people probably won't be there tomorrow like Serom with pink eye and Tim with his grandmother passing away this morning. ;_; I hope Tim and his family still manage to have a nice Christmas somehow. Life has been really sucking lately, eh?

On a brighter note, monk jelly made with real monks! Yum. I want to make an ad of that. LOL. "All natural ingredients" Anyway, I sat in the living room (yes, Wedge the LIVING ROOM) listening to Christmas Carols (no Koledy (sp?) ;_;) and looked at the prettyful decorations. Nice... Sleep is nice too. That art history test sucked! I'm all worried about this Cathedral and that one then the majority of the test was the Gospels! -_- ::sleepy time:: LOL, Monk Jelly. Haha, the monk from InYuYasha!

Tuesday, December 17, 2002 8:54pm

I was laying in bed listening to Billy Joel in total denial that I have a bunch of homework when the phone rings annoyingly. I look at the caller ID and it couldn't be... It was CHARI! She got accepted to SVA, congratulations! As usual she wasn't getting much sleep and she has an art history test coming up. She hopes that we'll force her to sleep next year. ^_~ And congratulations to Tom and Tim and Antoinette get your ass moving with those applications!

9:38pm

I got my slides today. The best yet I think except for the fact that I took three slides of "Page 3" and I only have one. ;_; It's the crappy one too! ::sniff:: I still have to write that essay thing for it and label them. Speaking of which I should type that out now. I should be doing a lot of things. Well, I did finish my Physics homework but I can't seem to study Pre- Cal. ::sighs:: Art history is another thing but at least there's the study guide. Tired.

Everyone has plans for New Year's. My parents are going out and I know they'll be all "what are your plans?" meaning get the hell out of the house! I was planning on taking the car and going to the movies providing that they're opened? Then get some pizza and watch CB straight through midnight. Of course I'll probably just watch CB and maybe get some pizza. Or maybe I'll just take Tim's idea and get drunk. ^_~ (Although I often joke about it, I'm not one to drink alcohol.) Today, Ami (thanks for the illiterate joke, I dictate my dlog to the cat who types it up) invited me for New Year's for whatever she's having at her house but at the moment I don't feel like going anywhere. C'mon its tradition to spend New Year's alone. It's good watching shit and eating popcorn night. ^_^

Agh... Pre-Cal. -_- I'll be lucky to pass the quiz coming up whenever. I went to confession tonight with my mom. I hate going to confession. I don't have anything to say of importance, just the usual cursing, lying, missed church (depending on when I go). Well, it didn't take long since everyone waits till the last moment. ::yawn:: I need to upload a FTP to my brother's computer since it seems whatever he did to it disabled the cookies therefore not allowing me to use the file manager = no updates. I know you're heart broken. ::rolls eyes:: I have pictures of my portfolio that I need to organize and post along with a few other pieces. I also I have to get that Lain design going... but I'm too lazy to do the HTML. Maybe I'll use one of those free design things everyone else is using. So much easier, eh? Agh... I'm writing a lot. Yes, procrastinating Pre-Cal. Yep...

Why is this week not over yet?

Monday, December 16, 2002 8:55pm

::just finished Art History homework::

Well, I guess a lot has happened since the last time I dlogged. Where to start?

My grandparents went out and got themselves a tree, which was a shock to all but not a shock that they don’t have it up and decorated yet. Ya know they’re oh so busy with their job and two kids. ::rolls eyes:: They don’t even ask me to help decorate anymore. ;_; Then they keep going on and on how they got it at Home Depot and the tree is so nice. ^__^

My dad pissed me off at this point. He was all mad that Mike and I didn’t go on Friday and that HE has to go. I look forward every year to go with my father to look for a Christmas and he dares say that?! >_< So after going to two other places we finally go to Home Depot and after much searching we found a decent tree. The bottom sucked but it’s the best we could find. It seems we’re rather late or everyone is just really early.

Saturday, the tree is up and decorated completing the Christmas preparations at my house. Oh, and the climate was perfect for my father to put up lights—snow and cold! XD We banned my mom from putting up the lights since she winds them up too much and the lights don’t works. Lol, we spent a half hour trying to figure out why they weren’t working. ^_^’’’

My grandparents got into an accident a couple days ago but lucky no one got hurt. Actually his car just has a little dent but I hear the other car got smashed on the backside. Stop sign, speeding, who knows?

Christmas shopping is pretty much done except for 1 ¼ and wrapping is half done. I got gifts today from Sister Joan and Rozle (I know I spelt that wrong) and from Mrs. Baskinger for helping paint the car. Everyone is so nice. ^_^

I read the first book of the Sandman series by Neil Gaimen, which was a bit choppy but still good. Later I read that you should start from the second book since its better and the story flows smoothly. Haha, Dream and Death! Maybe some fan art will appear. Lol, one part they show a children’s show with a guy and a sock puppet and he’s says something like “hey kids let’s slit our wrist. But make sure you cut straight down and not across”. OMG, it was funny yet disturbing. ::pictures Barney or Blues Clues::

I’m tried. The weekend wasn’t very relaxing and I did really bad on my pre-cal quizzes. Not only quizzes but I’m sad to say take home quizzes. I think I did the worst in the class as they proclaim 80s and 90s. I really need 90s on the next quizzes.

BTW, I’m still trying for that scholarship. The school is paying for it and I should get my slides tomorrow.

Oh, oh I hear wedding bells! Yippee Skippy! But it hasn’t been confirmed yet so we’ll see during the holidays. ^__________^

9:44pm

i'm mellow and cool with everybody. and popular with young and old. pass the love around.
find out what kind of drug you are @ tara's website.

10:09pm

Well, that was entertaining. After two- three weeks away from the computer I come online to an almost full email box and a couple updates. I'm pissed that I can't up date since freeserver is being an ass again. Oh well, a few IMs... ^___^

I'm still searching for a story or someone to work with for a comic yet there is none. Blah... My brother did something to the computer last week and its fucking with my updates. Fuck it I'm fucking tired. I'm going to bed.

Tuesday, December 10, 2002 9:15pm

We had our field trip to the MET today. This year I went there three times. ::twitches:: However, I have yet to cover the whole museum. One problem is the lack of interest in some areas such as American art and African art (Islamic art too but I think I've seen it already). So, this visit's favorites are:
- Henri-Edmond Cross, "Landscape with Stars": Although it is only a watercolor sketch or "thumbnail" of his painting the pattern of his lines are enough.
- Renior, "Figures Under a Tree": Another sketch for a painting, which I don't think he was thinking overall composition but I like the way the study ended up. He had the scene and then around it was details of things here and there.
- Gustave Moreau, "Salome Dancing Before the Head of Saint John the Baptist": The colors and style immediately drew my attention toward it. Dancing yay! And while looking at the piece I read the title and yes I totally disregarded the severed head. ^_^'''
-Henry Monnies (sp?), "The Painter's Studio": I don't quite recall this that much. I believe I jut like the subject matter. Artist's studios can be very interesting.
-Gustav Klimt, Don't remember the title but ya know: I wanted to get a postcard or two of the gold patterned one but they only have a booklet which was ten dollars. :/ Anyway, its prettyful. ^_^
-El Greico, blahblah: Emo. Yeah. ^_^''

I had another list from another time I was there but I can't find it at the moment and I'm sure you're all (all three of you) are glad. But yeah those sketches are cool and I can't believe that a pointillist did a sketch of there painting… a black and white version! >_< Insane people they are!

::is procrastinating pre cal homework::

Monday, December 09, 2002 5:04pm

Back from CCD and I had to watch 5th grade for a bit. I feel sorry for the kindergartners who got stuck there. ;_; Spike bracelet of evil was corrupting the children. ^___^

Now time for Montclair essay… Speaking of which didn't winter session classes start?

Saturday, December 7, 2002 3:40pm

Merry Christmas… Heee! ^_____^ Anyway, our indoor decorations (minus the tree) are up and my dad will probably put up the lights this weekend. The tree will be coming next weekend and the cookies might be next week as well. ::yum:: So look for me with my bag of cookies!

Yesterday, I was in shock, almost in denial of who called. Teresa! :D ::hugs:: It's been too long since we had a shopping trip! ;_; Teresa in her usual fashion called me fifteen minutes before she was leaving. -_- It's a good thing I don't have a social life. So, Teresa needed a dress for that band dance they always have at that Russian Church by my house. So, we found a back up and a back up to the back up but not thee dress. ^^''' LOL, first we walk into the wrong store then we go to the right one and its closed! How can a NJ store be closed at 6:00pm on regular hours? ::shakes head:: A dark day for NJ. Thank there being a mall every thirty minutes. ^_^'' ::sighs:: It's hard to fine nice jewelry without spending a hundred dollars. ;_;

8:03pm

Back from shopping. God, I've been like Wedge going shopping every weekend but the difference is I don't buy anything. I got a few gifts. Rolling Stones for my mom, jeans for my dad and stuff for Ami and Tim. I really don't know what to get people or who to buy for. I was thinking of getting gift cards for everyone but that just seems very impersonal and gift cards are my last resort. ::sighs:: I think I'm going to return Ami's and Tim's stuff and get something else… At least Ami's. ;_; Yep, no eating lunch till Christmas gifts are bought.

Two days gone and I didn't finish my college essay or stuff for the scholarship. ;_;

It's been a long time since I've been to Sun Coast and to Fye. Sun Coast change quite a bit. ::doesn't know where anything is:: And they have new anime magazines but more importantly manga! :D I almost gave in and bought X/1999. Must go back there after holidays. And Fye sells Newtype… I guess we can just look at the prettyful pictures? Strange how the whole anime thing is everywhere now. Speaking of which, adult swim is on tonight! Yay!

Tuesday, December 03, 2002

Oh I'm so glad that after four years of art I can still draw like a 5 year old. ^_^ Grendel Project… Hehe, a little therapy between Grendel and Unferth. Unferth kicks ass. :D

I'm taking slides yet again. This time for a scholarship, which I won't be winning but you can't say I didn't try. I have one slot available for another piece that I don't have so I just threw together a CD design. Although I think it came out good I don't know if I should use it since I didn't really do much. I basically did it the same way I do my web designs-cut, paste, and throw on some color and text. I love to do that. It's great because not only does it look good but also it only takes a few hours. The joy of photoshop. ^_^

Speaking of which, OH MY GOD! Remember the Islam test of '99?! I sense that history will be repeating its self. T_T Didn't I tell you that I'll be kicking myself for not going to get the extra credit? ::sighs:: She did say we can burn them but only AFTER she records the grade. ::sniff:: Oh Art History God! ::burns test:: We offer you this goat!

10:51pm

Well, it’s a good thing I didn’t start taking slides. I was just on their site looking for the deadline and not only did I find a deadline but also a fee! And it’s not some $10 thing. It’s $65-75! >_< I’m already wasting enough money on AP! ::Sighs:: Let’s hope I read all that right… I don’t see why it’s that much when we’re not sending our actual work. Its slides damn it! >_< ::sighs:: Things just aren’t working out…

Sunday, December 1, 2002 11:50am December already?

Agh… 9am mass. u_u

Congratulations to Ami! Her Gold Award Ceremony thingie is today. Yay! Ami must be thrill especially with all the anxiety of trying to get the award is now over. Probably even more happy that she won't have to sell cookies or wear her uniform no more. ^^ ::poke, poke:: You're lucky my camera's batteries are dead.

My mother brought out her old coat for me to wear. I wore it a few times back in 8th grade or something. My dad pointed out that Christie just bought one similar. So the Polish coat is back in style. The only problem is that the sleeves are a bit to short but my parents claim that they can make it longer. They're going to kill the coat. ;_;

My mom was reading in the newspaper that people are using heroine more because you don't have to inject it anymore. With all the drug awareness people still abuse them. It's quite sad. Before there was ignorance, now there's stupidity.

::Doesn't want to take the art history test:: ;_;
