"I'm only happy when it rains…" -Garbage

::BOOM! Crash, crash, crash, thunder, thunder…::

Yeah, there's a thunderstorm. However, it's pretty much over now but it was fun except for the knocking out the majority of the channels. ::Can't watch game 2:: I'll have to go look for a radio station so that I can properly laugh at the Devils when they lose. ^_^

8:36pm

Well, I'm going to NYC with my mom tomorrow to SVA junior open house. While talking about college I found out some interesting information that makes me feel better about myself though it seems mean to. My cousin did worse on her first try then I did on SAT, which is strange to me, because I thought she got 1100- 1200 kind of range. However, I still think my score really sucks but not as much since I know that. I'm going to be a dork since I wrote about 10 -15 questions about the college out of boredom in Algebra II. God I hate that class. -_-

Ami's on retreat and I hope she didn't get caught driving in that thunderstorm. Fun, fun for her. Well I'm going to take a shower in the 'dungeon' since I actually have to get up tomorrow. Damn train has to leave at 7:50am. God for bidden it would at least leave at 8:30am. -_- ::sigh:: Good thin I have a whole week to sleep. ::joy of Spring Break though I have no life:: Oh, oh we all have to take a lovely trip to NYC! :D We can take the bus and go shopping and such! Plus, I have a free pass to the Metropolitan Museum if we wanted to go there. Whee! Must pick a day! :D

"I'm going to say this carefully… F, U." -Mr. K

I live for times like before… My dad, grandfather and I were sitting outside in their backyard and it wasn't hot just a lovely breeze. Birds chirping and we were talking about politics and other random subjects. It's been awhile since we have done that. I didn't want to go home. I was enjoying the atmosphere that winter can't provide. Of course winter nights are good too but I'm rarely out at that time (parents aren't too thrilled about it).

My day pretty much sucked. I keep thinking its Friday and then its really hot although they say yesterday was hotter (new record of 98) it doesn't feel like it. Then no one showed up at work (yeah finally returning to painting but I really want to quit) so I just left. Loads of fun… Dinner wasn't that great either but I wasn't too hungry anyway. Babci has that pinch nerve but the doctors can't really do anything about it except give her shots every once in awhile. I think things are okay with my grandfather now but I'm really not sure. I haven't heard anything of it so I guess its nothing serious.

While sitting outside I had a sudden urge to paint furniture so I decided to paint the one my mom has been trying to get me to paint for some time now as a surprise. (Must save it for mother's day) I have a basic design but I'm not sure what color scheme to use. I also want to paint my grandparents' swing but that can wait till summer. I'll con my grandfather into letting me. Also, I'm going to buy one of those unfinished bird houses that they have a AC Moore to paint and give to my grandparents since I see they are in need of a new one and those squirrels seem to have moved on.

I heart AC. ^_^

"This looks like a good place to build a city… I recommend that we discover Bronze so that we can build phalanx…"

I HATE CIV II! >_< GRR!

Anyway, it's Monday and Mondays suck.

List of why Monday sucks:
1. Lab
2. School/work
3. Presentations
4. Hot
5. Nothing good on the telly
6. Its Monday
7. Grades are due
8. Lab write up due
9. Getting up early
10. Its Monday

I tried to sketch my self-portrait and that idea was horrible. Now I must find new idea or leech back onto the comic book page idea. ::sighs:: I hate art. If only I could sit and do my "peirogi + mushroom = yummy" and get a million dollars. That's the life… ::sighs::

So back to CivII, I was playing it for five minutes maximum and quit. That has to be the quickest game I've ever played especially for Civ. Mind you, that this isn't the first time I played. Technically it's the first time I played CivII but that doesn't really count since I've played CivI (many years ago). So, I really suck at games and I don't know how I'm going to verse my brother, Rich and Chris. @_@! I could barely move my "warrior" let alone build a #*$% city…! (Damn change in rules) I'm SO DEAD when the multi-player CivIII comes out! ;_;

"You're two floors down getting high in the back room… do you think you would make it out or would you burn out before the water filled your lungs…" -Saves the Day

All systems go! Computers are working and I sneaked online. =^..^= I got a couple surveys, lots of maple leafs stuff (I hope to God they don't verse the Devils), Elfwood comment (I really should start drawing fantasy again), and some strange French email which was poorly translated by Yahoo! talking about some RPG. ::shrugs:: And I thought there would be something fun and exciting since I haven't been online in two weeks. =( However, the online comics were well worth the effort to get online. ^_____^

At nine o'clock on a Sunday night I decide to check if I have any homework. Great time to start it, eh? Well, good news for me--- no homework that requires immediate attention. ^_^;;; So I was thinking about my self portrait and had I had absolutely nothing done considering I had a whole week. The plan was to steal Tim's idea of a comic book page but I couldn't go anywhere with that. I have no idea what to do… But a shower solves everything, right? Right. New idea! Creatively (note the creative part) plaster my face onto my dresser mirror. Now must of you never saw my dresser, it has bits and pieces of the last five years of my life. Ya, can we say this project is going to suck?

Anyway, yesterday I was cleaning my room (of my own free will). ::Gasps:: Yeah, yeah… (damn slave labor within the family) After I cleaned out the bottom of my clothes closet I decided to clean out my side closet, which I haven't touched in years, so that I can find somewhere to put all the shit I cleverly hid under my desk. This requires me to go through some ancient stuff like my dolls. I have some stuff (dolls, that Little People house thingie which my mom refuses to give away) put aside to give to my daughter. Pretty scary me having kids. But ya know just to screw me over (no pun intended for Sarah minded people) I will never have a daughter. Anyway, the cleaning of the closet was very nostalgic (Oooo… Vocabulary word).

"Throw up tastes a lot like icky soda." -Ami

Good thing Tim reminded me that art starts tonight. ::finished eating:: That chocolate swirl cake thingie that my Grandma made is really good even when frozen.

I was at the library (gasps) and I went online to look up some college stuff (I couldn't remember what else I had to look up -_-). My "safety" school is MSU, which I actually have a chance to get in judging by SAT scores. Then there's SVA which I have a 25% chance. There's also Ringling which I could get into but I don't think my parents would enjoy paying 25,000 nor would I really enjoy Florida. AH! Hurricane! Lastly there's Art Institute of Pittsburgh (or Pennsylvania, I mean Philadelphia ^_~) which appears to not care about SAT and would like you to take a different test. ::Not too fond of all these tests:: Oh! I just remembered FIT but I /HATE/ their web site. It has to be the worst constructed thing ever. >_<

::takes out SAT stuff:: I got 2 CDs and a book. I should really use them but before I even do that I should sign up for June.

::sighs::

5:11pm

What's funny is that I got a letter stating that I should go join the army! Oh yeah… Be all that YOU can be! Woot. ::rolls eyes::

"I swear to God if Disney makes one more sequel, I'm going to cut off Mickey's head and THEN let's see how many they make." -Me

Oh, guess where I am!

C'mon guess!

IN MY ROOM! ::Everyone falls off chair:: ^______^;;; (ß That's an Ed face.)

Well, it's only special this time since I now have a computer in my room (hand me down computer, again). But a computer nonetheless! Now if only I could get some Internet connection… ::is being Lain as Serom would say::

Everything has been up and down…one minute its this and the next its that… But I've been "dreamin' of this chicken bone…" Don't mind me I'm getting into one of those anime kicks (Damn anime guy at B&N.) Anyway, Grandpa not feeling well… Grandma isn't feeling well either but it seems like she fine with all the work she's been doing… ("Oh… I'm so weak…" ::rolls eyes::)

I had lots to say but I can't seem to remember it all.

Anti-Jr. Prom-10 people at South of the Border-- 10 strange, crazy, LOUD people at South of the Border... That kind of says it all, eh? Well, after everyone finally showed up, trips to the bathroom to get some action from the mandolin guy, annoying Waiter-san with many refills of Dr.--- MR. Pip, explaining the whole extra credit thingie with the triangle and orange dots, the disappointment of no cheeseburgers after 4 and some other stuff, we FINALLY ordered. (Wow, that sentence is like reading The Scarlet Letter-almost.) We all shared our meals except for dessert, of course. There were some pictures taken, three rounds of happy birthday (though it was no one's birthday), the announcement that Jane was pregnant with the mandolin guy's baby from the OTHER South of the Border (Nice way to get Waiter-san's attention), and we can't forget the Anti-Jr. Prom Soundtrack. Yeah… Well watch out for the moat! Well, actually the highway… Best Buy just had to be closed at 8pm. ::sighs:: B&N is fun too but I think I spent enough time there reading From the Dust Returned by Ray Bradbury. I really don't recommend the book unless you need something quick to read for school. Anyway, B&N Serom met the Anime Guy… ::smile and nod:: (Oh can't forget the bill! $142!)

Art class starts this week. I have a self-portrait to do in Studio Art and I'm using the idea Tim suggested, comic book style! Yay! Wow... I never noticed how boring the computer is without Internet connection. Actually it wouldn't be bored if I get up off my lazy ass to get the Civ2 Cd so I can play. Yay, Civ2! ::hugs:: Civ3 once I get to my brother's computer… MWAHAHAHA!

All for now… ::loves 3 day weekends (no lab)::
