Ya know, sometimes you just got to say ‘fuck it’. Or just get up earlier to study when you feel more motivated. ^^’’ I have my art history midterm tomorrow and my studying has been kind of half assed. Well, at least half the stuff is old material and its mostly recalling, dates, remembering name changes and a lot more stuff because slide identification sucks ass. ::sighs:: Anatomy quiz/test/thing tomorrow too. T_T And I failed my english midterm on Wednesday since , ya know, I didn’t finish my essay because I’m a stupid dumb ass. Yeah, I’m done.
Right now I’m talking to Antoinette and Tom… Damn, Laura had to go home tonight. Who am I going to procrastinate with? ^_^’’’ I haven’t talked to Antoinette in a awhile but from her alog I know she’s busy. Ah, I miss high school… ::sniff:: She didn’t even get any blue paint on herself yet! ;_; I was reading Serom’s slog too and she seems to be having a great time. I really want to listen when she’s DJ-ing. :D
After class I came back to find that maintenance came and fixed everything (hall/kitchen lights, refrigerator light and door and both toilets… Yes the second one went last night. ^^ I’m sure 10C enjoyed Chari coming up to use the bathroom. XD) Ah shit I just knocked over Corrie’s stuff. And the internet thank god only died that one day and is working now though my cable connection at home is better. Anyway, it was great… I took a shower and put on my Pjs. That’s like 4 in the afternoon. Damn studying has to ruin my day! ><
Ya know it must be funny for the people across the street to look into the dorm windows and see students collapsed on there desks from too much work, random drunkenness, stripping… lol, Laura and the barbecue pit. XD
Yeah, so I don’t hate any of my roommates. Youngin isn’t around much but I’m her alarm clock since hers died. But in her absence she leaves the rice cooker on so that we can check on the over cooked rice daily for amusement. I’m also on occasion Corrie’s alarm clock too (lol, sorry Chari and Laura I forgot you have 9am class on Thursdays ^^’’). I’ve talked to Corrie a bit but she’s out a lot too (not as much as Youngin) and she’s nice. I’ll probably go through her music collection. She won’t mind… ^^’’ Bernie ust makes popcorn though I have been talking to her lately. ^^ I mostly hang out with Chari, Laura, Lee (virtual roommate) and Katie (virtual roommate). Chari feeds the stray poor students. Lol. We talk (IM, too, though Chari is so mean. =p), borrow CDs and I’m the reminder of her left behind bags. ^^ Laura is there to steal my stuff! Lee’s to beat up on and Katie supplies the Riblets (and cake! Yummy cake!). XD
Yeah, I’m tried. I wrapped that up… =p I guess I’ll read over my stuff one more time, pack/clean for tomorrow, and sleep.
God, I can’t believe it’s the twentieth already. Where does the time go? ::sighs:: I’m back at my dorm and I just finished unpacking crap. Corrie cleaned her side of the room so I was surprised to notice that the room looked bigger.
For some reason this time I couldn’t wait to come home. And there wasn’t a dull moment (family wise)… I guess I’ll leave it at that. :/ (yelling and alcohol isn’t good)
Saturday night was fun seeing Ami, Tom, Tim, Sarah, Karen and Nicole who communicated by phone from lovely Hawaii. I picked up Tom while blasting REM’s Out of Time to meet up with everyone at the pizza place only to find out that Ami’s mom made pizza. >< Oh well more pizza. XD Lol, the pizza was really hot and if you weren’t careful the cheese just slide right off (Sarah!). It didn’t quite have enough sauce though like Frank’s hole in the wall pizza place (literally a hole in the wall). After that we went to blockbuster (everyone piled into my car of course >=p) and later dragged raced back to the parking lot to get the other cars. (lol, nah no drag racing because I know Karen would so kick my ass.) Karen didn’t show for the pizza but she did for Space Balls at Ami’s house. It sucked though that Dan died recently so Karen wasn’t quite herself. Loads of fun catching up with people though. I kind of died half way through. I guess the running around that morning got to me but when I went outside to the car to leave I woke up and ended up driving around for an hour. I wish there was somewhere cool to go at midnight… but driving was fun (for once).
I got out of english early which is always a plus except that the mid term is next week and an essay to follow that. However, what brightened my day was that I got an ‘A’ on my essay. Yay, for rewrites! If only I’ll do that good next week. T_T
I’m still trying to figure out if I’ll need to go buy something to take money out or if I can survive on the seven dollars in my wallet. But I am going to see my mom tomorrow night so I can get a few bucks off of her… I could always go into my emergency stash but it’s really not an emergency (unless of course I don’t have money for the ride home ^^’’).
I’ll be coming home this weekend (Sorry, Laura, paying $24 to go to a corn maze didn’t seem that fun… Maybe if I was working.) and I hope to do something other than being bored or rushing around.
I talked to Ami on AIM and it’s been a long time since we’ve talked. Probably since all those graduation parties… That’s like three months. It was nice to talk to her again.
So what have I been up to in college? Shootin’ up and getting drunk! Oh Yeah! ^^’’ Nah (though there were opportunities), I’ve been doing some homework, hanging out with Laura, Chari, Lee, Katie, and on occasion Wonton, shopped at Macy’s, applied for a job at Express and the Gap (which I just had to go after class and look like a bum! Damn it, I didn’t think I would have to talk to anyone. ><), found the mini Polish section (its like two blocks long if that), cursed out my teachers, cursed out my projects/essays, curse out the mysterious trolley, got a 94 on my art history quiz, cook (edible stuff too!)… sleep. ^_^’’
The Pulaski Day Parade was fun though I went alone. It’s been a long time since I went and surprisingly walking up to 42nd street isn’t that bad. Of course the Passaic County people were last but everyone was dressed up so ha! And they even had they’re little band and the axes! XDDD Dude, this one guy comes up to me and says to his friend “Hey take a picture of me with this girl!” O_o’’ That was a sign to go back to the dorm. Well, Sarah they’re were some nice Polish guys there. They weren’t drunk though… yet. ^___^ lol, one Miss Polonia float was pull by a tractor! XDDD Can’t get any more Polish, eh? Oh, and you can’t forget all the Pope floats. XD
I’m hungry… but than I won’t be that hungry for a good dinner if I eat now. ;_; Oh well… granola bar it is.

I was up late last night for no reason related to school or anything… just talking with Laura and Chari. I would really like to do that more often. Damn you college!
Today I had English and we finished going over the Odyssey so he’s like ‘let’s write an essay!’ ::falls out of chair!:: There’s another essay to rewrite. Hopefully the grade is better than the last. ;_; Oh and the proficiency exam is next week. ::cries:: I have to write an essay like I did on the first day! ;_; ::fails::
I went to the library and went online of course (lol) and I got a couple books and a video. So, I have Casablanca for my Friday movie (Chicken Run is next! XD), Jasper Johns for drawing class artist presentation thing, cool anatomy book to help with drawing homework and the second book in Scott McCloud’s series just for the hell of it (Haha, incase I go to Keith’s class!). Yep, fun, fun for me! XD
Oh, last night we found out why the internet is messed up. Some people had viruses on their PCs and it mess up the connection (so they say). So we got CDs to clean our computers but I didn’t find any viruses (ya know they were searching for porn).
So, I writing my report on Jasper Johns (the guy who did the American Flag paintings) and I’m reading the book I got. It’s great… I love how he doesn’t bull shit meanings to his artwork. Finally an artist who admits that a painting can just be a painting.

I’m sad today. I had class today. I hate class. I had to write an essay and it made me sadder because there was no death or plagues to write about. Tear.

I swear he said that the painting was due today! Apparently everything got shoved to next week so I got up early to paint for nothing! >< Well, at least its done now… I got out twenty minutes early too. T_T’’’ I did a crappy job and I’m not paying for nail polish remover.
I tried to take a nap but sleep didn’t come… ;_; Corrie took my lead and she’s sleeping now. ^_^
I’m debating what to make for dinner but its hard when you’re not really hungry. ::Damn apple:: Either pizza or daddy toast…depending how hungry I get later. Hmmm…

Home was fun. I came an hour early and for once there wasn’t any major problems with getting home. My mom likes her PJs! :D But she got poison ivy so she can’t wear them yet. :/ On Sunday my relatives came over and Wedge! ::hugs:: I haven’t seen her in about a month. ;_; Just wait till Thanksgiving! Wedge is going to be driving! Wheee! XDDD Speaking of Wedge I bought pants at Warehouse. Originally it was $60 but I got them for $15. ^___^ Shopping is fun when its like that. Yeah, that definitely makes up for H&M. >< But the stuff was pretty that I bought though… just not on sale. :/ Anyway…
Lice free dorm! Come one come all! Lol, yeah… And I found Laura’s other sock, which has unknowingly been stuck in my comforter sheet for the past two weeks. Ah, the joy of laundry. Which of course I had to shrink something… my poor robe… its still wearable though. ^_^’’
Oh, I come back to find that Laura and Lee have been awaiting my return so that we can watch the episodes of the Legend of Zelda series! XDDD That made my day. “Well, excuuuusseeee me, princess!”-Link It’s so not rated G. That’s all I have to say but he is wearing tights… most of the time anyway. ^^ What came after the episodes can near be spoken of ever again. T_T

I didn’t do too much homework this weekend like I planed. I think I’ll skip the reading of the Odyssey and go for cliff notes to save time to do other more important homework. (Sad I know.) I did finish my English essay so that was a big thing out of the way. Now I have art history and drawing. (Of course rushing to finish my painting by 3 tomorrow. ^^’’’) Oh well at least I’m eating well. XD
Holy shit I should be doing my drawing homework. I will do it after I update.
I might be able to get out of my computer class next semester and maybe take a different English II class if I pass the proficiency exam next month. My only chance of passing that depends on the format. My spelling sucks, which reminds me that I need to rewrite my essay. :/ I don’t mind the English class too much…. Can’t take another Graphic Arts I class. T_T Janet, knows what I’m talking about.
The reunion reminds me I stuff that I want to do. ::Sighs:: Will do one day (especially if I’m not starving! Lol.) Yeah…

Omg! Harrison Ford was on the Conan O’Brien show! (The repeat was on tonight.) I didn’t get to hear all of it ‘cause my roommates were being distracting. But they talked about the rumors of the fourth Indiana Jones movies and I was just waiting for the Indiana Jones with a walker jokes but none came. ;_;
I just spent a lot of money in the past two days. ;_; However, my last check and the money my brother owes me should cover most of it so that’s good. Eeee. Yeah.
I finished my english homework today. ::gasps:: I’m reading the book. Yes, I’m scared too. I read a chapter of art history (damn prehistoric time) and they talk about different things than Art Through the Ages so it annoys me. >< No city of Jerico or anything. I’m waiting for nine o’clock so that I can call my mom and Wedge. I sporadically went home Sunday morning (my mom bribed me with steak and potatoes) but when I got there I found out that my grandma got rush to the hospital. She’s supposedly okay though… so far. I’ll find out more when I call tonight. I visited her in the hospital on Sunday and grandpa was all worried and everything. I was kind of surprised that he was that worry. Yeah, doctors suck.

Tom called yesterday because supposedly I didn’t give him enough time to reply back. Lol, that was fun. Poor Tom had to get up at 6am today. :/ Speaking of commuting I was thinking of going with Tim but he leaves like at 11 or something and I wasn’t planning on getting up early and rushing. I bought vitamins today. They come in pretty animal shapes. I wonder if they taste any good. It’s probably like the ones I used to take when I was a kid.
An unusual comment from my dad... He was telling my mother that I shouldn’t bother with getting a job because both of them are still working (and hopefully will be till retirement) and that with all the money they’re paying that I focus on school. Lol, any other parents’ like this? ::shrugs:: My daddy worries about me. I told my mom to tell he that I bought vitamins. XD
My mom sent me an email awhile ago and I read it yesterday when I was home. ::sniff:: It made me depressed… and homesick if I was actually away when read but still yeah, It’s not quite my home anymore. I’m bored. Everyone left… Chari went upstate or something, Laura and Lee went upstate to the Renaissance Fair without me, Laura went out with friends, Youngin is upstairs and my new roommate, Corrie, went to a show. Wonton said she was going to stop by later but I guess not. I tried calling Wedge but my phone won’t let me. ;_; Maybe she changed her number again. ::sighs::

I tried making Chicken soup but that didn’t work out either. It looked really good but it didn’t have any taste so I add seasoning and stuff and it still didn’t taste like its suppose to. :/ I call my mom to tell her and she thinks that I put too much water or the chicken wasn’t fatty enough. Maybe there was too much water. ::shrugs:: It tasted like Campbell’s soup. I think I’ll pop the other pieces of chicken in the oven one day. As for the leftover soup I might turn it into tomato soup that is if sour cream comes in a small container.

I feel kind of lonely… I guess a little home sick. I miss going to school and seeing my friends. Here I don’t have any. I mean I met a couple of people but none of them are really friends.
I’m back home for the weekend. My first few days of ‘college life’ was interesting. Well, the people were anyway. ^_^ Last minute my roommate died so I have the whole room to myself (Lol, Tim, you don’t have to sleep on the floor since there’s an extra bed now. ^^’’ (And if ‘Evil’ Laura is reading this, this is not part of the revolving door!)) plus they threw in the TV (the cable isn’t quite working yet so the TV turned Polish XDDD), VCR, Play Station and the ‘borrowed’ Game Cube. ^___^ Hehe, Lee brought Link! XDDD And he’s going to buy Soul Calibur II… Link talks! XD And I found a copy of FF6/5… o_O When did my brother buy that?
Anyway… My roomies are Chari, (‘Evil’) Laura, (‘Good’) Laura and YoungIn. Chari is Chari… she’s on speed. ‘Evil’ Laura is on crack and has a really cool fork. ‘Good’ Laura like to watch people when they’re drunk. Youngin likes video games and psychology and probably has psychoanalyzed us already. I met some people… SVA student people in the bright shirts are scary. O_o They’re all nice and happy and say hi and all. ‘Evil’ Laura’s friend, Lee, who I met before but forgot his name (I felt really bad about that -_-) lives two floors up. We met some of his roommates… Chris, Eliot, err—two other people who’s names escaped me and Dan from Parsons (evil Parsons). Then there’s Wonton who’s hyper all the time and is really kick ass with markers. Met up with Mari, Tom, Maureen, and someone else from last summer class.
The whole orientation and meeting people just reconfirmed my shyness. I thought I was somewhat over that but no. ::shrugs:: So, what am I going to miss out on… drunken parties? Friends? Ah, who needs friends... ::strokes computer:: ^_^ ::computer dies:: ;_; ::sniff::
So, yeah… I need friends to come and visit! (Or I can hop on a train and visit.) :D If I still have friends left… ;_; Ya know, I’m going to miss CHS now… only because I don’t know when I’ll be seeing friends (and the under pass XD). Yeah… email me and I’ll send you my addy and cell phone number. I have classes on Tuesday to Friday. Mostly morning classes except for Friday... Friday is going to suck. X_x
I tried to find a job… I collected applications but have yet to hand them in. However, I did stupidly get a temp job at Shakespeare & Co. for the mad book rush. I get $6.25 hr and pizza plus 10% off my books. It’s only going to be for about three weeks and so far I’m working Wednesdays. I think I’m going to die… I don’t know how I’m going to do it. I’m going to be really slow annoying, you know it. T_T ::sighs::
I’m bringing my computer back with me so yeah… I get to go online! ^^ And Serom-chan dies for the SVA library. There’s manga and anime to take out. ^__^ SVA has a trolley. O_o
My parents were really happy to see me… and my Grandparents, I can’t even explain. But I know that I’m really home when my grandfather calls asking me to dial the numbers for the phone card. Yep, welcome home. ^____^ My brother wasn’t home and he’s still not home and I was kind of disappointed. I brought him back a book about WWII. I’ll probably see him tomorrow or maybe he’ll come home tonight.
NYC is nice to go there but to live there I’m not quite sure… It’s just really nice to be home.
